Making the Connection Between the Business and Education Communities

We would like to invite you to participate in the further development of this program. We believe that together we can improve the workforce by making the connection between the business and education communities. By more tightly integrating the needs of the business community and requirements of the academic world we will empower young people by preparing them for the future they will inherit. Thus fulfilling the desire of business, needs of students and requirements of the academic establishment the outcome will be a win-win solution for everyone.

2013 ABLE Excellence in Education Nominations Due April 19

St. Charles County ABLE would like to recognize outstanding professionals who play a vital role in making a difference in the lives of our children and community. Through this award we hope to raise public awareness of the exceptional quality of teaching our students are receiving within St. Charles County.  

Nominations can be submitted by any community member wishing to recognize excellence in teaching including:
*A parent
*A current or former student
*A teacher, school, staff member, or administrator
*A civic or community leader

Over $3,000 in Mini Grants Awarded 

Mini Grant Recipients from Spring 2013

The purpose of the ABLE Mini Grants for Schools Program is to provide funds and support to teachers in participating school districts for school enrichment programs that focus on career development, career exploration, and/or career readiness skills. Click the burst above for more information.
